Today’s Horse Racing Tips – 11th November 2022

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 11.

Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Canterbury, Gundagai, Ballina, Moonee Valley, Seymour, Sunshine Coast, Warwick and Port Lincoln.

CANTERBURY: RACE 7 @ 9:00 PM

HUON (6) was almost a certainty beat first-up but got up in the final bound to score narrowly. Drawn ideally again with Hugh Bowman taking the ride. Never raced on a firm deck, so he could have an extra gear up his sleeve. Trending the right way and looks the one to beat. EYEWITNESS (4) was slow to recover last start after a tough effort up on the pace. She was a big winner at this track and trip two back when leading. Fit and firing and sure to be there when the whips are cracking. AMORTAL (8) ended last campaign with a good win and has trialled impressively leading into today. Blinkers go on first time today, but the draw is sticky. May need some luck but has upside and won't be far away. SWEET RUBY (2) may want further in time, but has been placed first-up previously. Keep safe. MISS FOX (3) was a good winner fresh and is not to be discounted.
SELECTIONS: Huon is the one to beat.

GUNDAGAI: RACE 3 @ 2:10 PM

PROPHET'S PRIDE (3) returned with a bang fresh when scoring comfortably at Bathurst. Open to further improvement and is already a second winner who will handle the anticipated conditions. Top pick. SALUTE AGAIN (4) made a solid return when beaten narrowly at Goulburn. Has a good record at this trip and draws to get the gun run with winning hoop N Heywood sticking. REDHAIR'N'FRECKLES (7) let down in great style when straightening at the latest, cruising past her rivals to romp home by a huge margin. Finds this tougher but is worth plenty of thought. SECRETIVELY (1) is yet to make an impact this campaign since joining the Matthew Dale barn from the Anthony Cummings team. Might be able to make amends.
SELECTIONS: Backing Prophet's Pride to win.

BALLINA: RACE 2 @ 1:49 PM

RAYOCK (6) looked very good winning at Toowoomba on debut before being tipped out for time to furnish. Has since returned with a close-up second at the Gold Coast and will strip fitter for that hit-out. Sure to be right there when the whips are cracking. CHICKERARTIE (8) got the job done over this track and trip when having her first run for the new stable and will have taken a lot of confidence from that victory. Expected to go well again. CLIFTON SPRINGS (3) has only missed the top-four once in the past eight outings and is a genuine top-three contender. JABALI RAIN (2) resumes here but showed enough in his first campaign to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Can run a race while fresh. PALAWA KANI (4) strips fitter second-up and deserves respect on best figures.
SELECTIONS: Rayock to win.

SEYMOUR: RACE 4 @ 2:55 PM

CELTIC GLORY (10) should take plenty of beating back to this grade. She ran a super race at 100-1 at Flemington, beaten just 2.5 lengths in a much stronger race. Her maiden form prior was good for a race like this and she should prove too strong. TYPHOON NETA (14) is knocking on the door having run second, beaten under a length in her last two starts. Maps for a soft run and should be in the finish. SANDEFAULT (13) ran a better race away from heavy tracks at St Arnaud over this trip and a repeat of that effort should be competitive.
SELECTIONS: Celtic Glory to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 4 @ 6:38 PM

TAREX (6) brings very strong form to resumption and looked sharp in a recent Deagon trial. Two-back he was only beaten 2L in a Group 3 here over a mile. He's won first-up and kicking off over 1400m won't bother. VERY INTOXICATING (7) spiked her figures again winning the CL2 at Eagle Farm. Seeks the hat-trick and will get every chance drawn to advantage. HARD REYVA (5) improved again just missing the placings here in stronger grade. Orman takes over from the apprentice in a key switch. THE DROVER (4) was on-speed beaten a half length in an Eagle Farm CL3. Maloney sticking is a plus and the gelding can get into the finish again.
SELECTIONS: Backing Tarex.

WARWICK: RACE 5 @ 2:43 PM

SECRET CASH (3) has been close up the three runs this preparation and finds much easier Maiden grade. Found one better at Eagle Farm the latest and she should have these covered. MAX'S SOURCE (12) is also knocking on the door. Has the blinkers on again and is in light with the 4kg claim. He shapes as the danger. WELL BRANDED (8) draws low and the winkers go on for the blinkers. Is hard to catch but draws low and wouldn't be far away at best. SPLITTING ARROWS (4) debuts for a sharp barn and will be better for the recent trial. Has a low barrier and is a betting watch.
SELECTIONS: Backing Secret Cash.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 9 @ 6:53 PM

TALLU (3) made a winning South Australia debut when giving nothing else a chance with an all the way performance. He looks very promising and should have no problems handling the rise in class here. On top. ZAKYBREE (6) both his career wins have come on this track and he was a solid runner up here when starting favourite last start. She gets in with a light weight after the three kilo claim and looks to be the main danger to the top selection. FINCH 'N' CHIPS (7) started favourite when resuming and was only run down late when finishing seventh, beaten less than two lengths. He usually improves quickly second up and is worth following up. Watch closely. SPACE FORCE (4) go too far back last time out and was given no chance. He should settle much closer to the speed this time and with a better surface, he is capable of improving sharply. He is worth considering for all bet types at long odds.
SELECTIONS: Tallu to win again.
