Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Ballarat, Moe, Mudgee, Taree, Port Lincoln, Sunshine Coast & Mt Barker.

BALLARAT: RACE 5 @ 3:45PM

Elite Icon (1) has only faded late at his last two starts in town and gets his favoured firmer footing here. He has the early dash to negate the wide draw and can dictate terms from the front. He looks the one to beat. PRAIRIE FLOWER (3) has placed at two of her past three starts, both down the Flemington straight. She's a winner around this circuit and looms as a danger. HEAD'EM (7) back from a let up creates plenty of interest fresh and back to this trip. Keep safe getting the last crack at them late. MINYINGA (2) first up is better over further but she can add value to the multiples with the right luck. SELECTIONS: Elite Icon is the class runner.

MOE: RACE 6 @ 4:40PM

Revolutionist (3) had been threatening and then comfortably delivered this grade at Ararat. That stacks up and he can take the next step. COSTLESS (1) resumes for a form barn and is a winning hope if presented forward. Draws low and high-stable striker Newitt is booked and that's a lead. LING LING (9) has been competing in stronger grade. Ran a strong relative figure at Moonee Valley the latest and can't be ruled out. DELIVERY MAN (6) has gone close the last two and will use the rail. In the mix. SELECTIONS: Backing Revolutionist.

TAREE: RACE 4 @ 3:40PM

Bulls Blood (1) returns and looks to have returned in terrific order off the back of being gelded with a dominant trial win under his belt. Aaron Bullock reunites after partnering in the trial win. Very bold showing expected. MOONGLOW MISS (6) caught the eye on debut when closing off strongly into the placing at Port Macquarie before heading straight to the paddock. Has a wide alley to contend upon her resumption but is worth plenty of thought. TWIN SEAS (14) showed good early toe here over the same journey last start but lacked a kick when challenged. Drawn favourably and could be the one they need to reel in. DIS IS HEAVEN (3) was unlucky not to make it a winning debut and should be respected. SELECTIONS: Bulls Blood hard to beat.

MUDGEE: RACE 8 @ 5:25PM

Gallant Star (1) is a progressive Zoustar gelding with good second up form. Motored late from off the speed when a solid third over 1100m at Randwick on January 21. Gets in light here with the claim and inside gate a plus. The one to beat. SALISANO (3) is a Baker trained filly chasing her third straight victory. Pounced late when a soft winner over 1100m at Bathurst on February 26. This tougher but not to be underestimated. RUBIWISH (5) is holding her form well and drops in weight for this after finishing fourth over 1200m at Canberra on February 3. Brings solid figures here. BROGANS CREEK (4) is an underrated gelding who gets a senior rider on today and will appreciate the weight drop. Not far away at latest when fifth over 1100m at Bathurst on February 6. Can take a hand in the finish. SELECTIONS: Gallant Star to win.

PORT LINCOLN: RACE 9 @ 5:15PM

Dantela (8) capped off some good form with a deserved win here last start. She draws close to the fence and looks like she has the ability to go a lot further than this grade. Ben Price sticks with her and so are we. On top. GOODARCHIE (3) followed up a couple of picnic wins with a game third here last start. He has not missed a cheque in five starts on the track and he is always an each-way hope. ISA SECRET (10) is another consistent performer who got to be within a length of the winner here last start. The extra distance today should be in her favour and she can't be left out of calculations. SELECTIONS: Dantela to win.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 5 @ 3:24PM

Moveitmoveit (3) resumed here heavily bet when narrowly beaten in a 58 and hasn't missed a beat. Thompson sticking is a plus and fitter he can go one better. CARRIER BUSTER (5) won the 58 at Lismore and the 2kg claimer will use the rail. He won't have to improve much to get some of the money. BADGERS NUTS (4) was only beaten 1.6L here the latest in a bit stronger and racing at peak fitness can fill a slot. SELECTIONS: Going with Moveitmoveit.

MT BARKER: RACE 8 @ 5:25PM

Zac Luvs To Fly (5) battled on strongly for his fourth placing at Belmont last start after finishing runner up here prior to that effort. He has the draw to try and set them up in front and if he can get away with a soft sectional during the running he will take all sorts of catching. On top. MIETTE STAR (7) is having her first start for the Arron Pateman stable after some good performances this season, including a brace of wins at York. She will get back from her wide draw but will be hitting the line hard. Watch for her late. TRADEM' IN (1) forget his first start for his new trainer and he has been back to the trials where he finished second under a hold. He is much better placed at this level and a form reversal is expected. OXBRIDGE (11) has improved at his last three starts and if the breaks come his way then he is capable of running into the money. SELECTIONS: Zac Luvs To Fly to win.
