Hamilton Meeting Transferred To Coleraine

3 minute read

The meeting programmed for Hamilton on July 26 has been transferred to Coleraine due to track concerns.

Racing Victoria’s racing operations manager Paul Bloodworth said the decision to transfer the meeting was made in consultation with the Hamilton Racing Club after stewards advised that the track would benefit from a break following two meetings in June.

“The Hamilton Racing Club held two meetings in June where the track was rated a heavy 10 and since then the region has received substantial rain so we have made the decision to transfer this meeting,” Bloodworth said.

“The stewards’ recommendation is that the track will benefit from a break to ensure it is in good condition for its next meeting on October 10.”
