It is the famous Ipswich Cup day where they’ll get the biggest crowd of the Winter carnival.
We look to get another fine day in this carnival and so happy to back Amish Boy in the Eye Liner Stakes.
By golly this 3yo deserves to win a race. He's won 1 from 15 and yet gone around in so many of the features.
He was placed in a Danehill, Guineas Prelude, Magic Millions 3yo, Autumn Stakes and even the Newmarket.
Up in Queensland he came from last to just miss in the Fred Best and that form has stood up already.
He draws a gate which is imperative around here and just needs to run up to those efforts to be taking the prize.
The last is the Gai Waterhouse Classic for the fillies and mares and it is wide open.
One filly resuming here is Smart 'N' Sexy and you would only need to see the semblance of support to be having a go at odds.
She won the Dalrello this time last year and then after a spell came back for just two outings including a win at 1400m at Eagle Farm.
You can see Robbie Fradd sitting around midfield in the big field and getting on his bike before the corner knowing she has the limit.
Off two trials she should be primed and we're getting around double figures to find out.
