Many of the races in Adelaide on the weekend have multiple chances so labelling one is tricky.

One who could be a really nice one going forward is My Boy Birmingham who has the second outing in Race 5.

Sure he is drawn off the track but he showed good speed to lead on debut. That was on the Synthetic track at Ballarat but you have to like what he did there.

There was a margin over rivals on the line and with the emergencies he will come in at least five gates so it isn't as dramatic as it seems.

The claim helps as well and against a few who have convictions, happy to think a 3yo on the rise is a good way to play.

Later in the card we fancy a horse who is first up with a fantastic record doing just that.

Lake's Folly is three from five resuming and this is his right type of distance range.

He loves the sting out of the surface which will be prevailing and drawing out is not a huge hassle from the chute start.

Jessica Eaton will be happy to track them up around the corner then let go up the middle of Morphettville.

Hoping we get a bit better odds on the day.
