Looks a winnable day’s racing at Morphettville on Saturday.
In the BM86 sprint race, One More Daisy returns and has very good form from last preparation.
The seven year old mare won here back in May and then ran some cracking races behind Desert Lashes and Sprightly Lass, the latter in the Group 3 DC McKay Stakes.
In that race she came from last and beat home Santa Ana Lane who would win the Goodwood after that. She might have been at the end of the campaign last outing.
She had a positive experience in winning a trial, taking a sit on the leaders, easing off heels and running on by under a hold.
On a track which won’t be too firm, she can sit back and attack late.
Going for the only three year old running against the older horses in the following race.
More Than Exceed had form through the strong Victorian juveniles races last Autumn.
He ran into the Blue Diamond and Sires fields and even had a little support at big odds in those.
The More Than Ready colt is a winner at this course and also that was first up.
Importantly he’s had two trials and gets a lovely run off the draw.
