There is plenty of rain around Doomben at the moment with the best result to be a heavy 10 track.

Not overly keen on betting on betting the meeting in these conditions and despite the short odds Tversky looks the best of the day.

Having won all four starts this campaign, Yversky remains undefeated from two previous runs on a heavy track and won well over this C/D last time out when getting the better of Niccanova.

Tversky is certainly short enough at $1.90 but will definitely get through the conditions and expect him to push forward and take plenty of running down.

Later in the day Saint Patricks Day looks a solid each way chance when he lines up in the Benchmark 85 over 1350m.

The Chris Munce-trained runner returned pretty well when third to Hingus Rose last start and he has shown good form in wet conditions previously.

The four-year-old gelding has finished in the money in both previous second up outings and the current price of $6.50 looks a solid each way bet.

With just the 10 starts to his name he is open to further improvement and from the good draw will be competitive despite coming up against the in form Stella Victoria.
