Flemington throws up another really good summer betting card this Saturday with plenty of interesting races to take a look at.
He's third up and looks absolutely ready to peak after two good runs in Sydney. First up he did enough in a fast and high-rating contest behind Easy Eddie. He didn't have a lot of room there and such speed was a big ask first up from a break. Big pass mark there and then he chased the same horse last time in a much more slowly run contest - booming home with only the very much in-form Easy Eddie the only horse on the card quicker for the last 600/400/200m.
It leaves Intuition on the doorstep of a big peak and we think that peak will be big enough to get him over the top of a competitive line up in the last on Saturday.
Our each way play brings a similar profile - running big closing sectionals last time out behind form that has already worked out really well.
Abyssinian chased Tin Hat and Peko last time with that pair both having won well since then. There was plenty of merit to her performance and she finds a race that looks no tougher at Flemington. Double figure odds are well worth having in the book.
