Race 1

Fiscal Policy may elect to lead and Barbara Mary will be prominent. FISCAL POLICY (4) won the 58 comfortably first-up at Queanbeyan and impressed. Is back much improved and is sure to take beating with the extra fitness. BARBARA MARY (5) was much better at Goulburn when held up at the top on the straight. Gets the high stable-striker Lever and has the ability to play a major role. ZUZZUDIO (6) was backed into favourite here the latest and had no luck. Placed the same venue prior and she’s a genuine hope. PRINCE JACKO (3) didn’t miss by far here second-up in the return to form. Has ability and the 1400m should suit.

Race 2

Maid In Milan can lead from Joan Constance, Harvest Dream and Dangerous Breeding. GLAMOUR CRUISE (7) won the Maiden comfortably here 26 days ago impressing after a slow start. She draws low and looks capable of taking the next step. MAID IN MILAN (4) demonstrated good ability the first campaign and has trialled twice at Warwick Farm for this. She draws to advantage and can come back further improved and go close. HARVEST DREAM (3) is fast and resumes as a gelding for Dryden-Collings. Won her only fresh run and has the figures. DANGEROUS BREEDING (2) was tough winning the 65 here 13 days ago racing on-speed. She can clear the gate okay and gets the chance to repeat. Cahill gets off Harvest Dream to stick with OUR FINVARRA (5). She made good improvement at Wagga and keep safe.

Race 3

Assault’N’Bathory can make the pace from low gate. The Maiden looks open on paper. READY'S GIRL (4) won a Canterbury trial and then didn’t get warm resuming in the Magic Night Stakes on a heavy track. Is obviously pleasing and this is lengths easier. The stable flies here. TRIBBIANI (5) resumed off two strong rating efforts this venue and looked in need of it. Has had 26 days away and expect improvement at the 1400m. The betting closer to post time will reflect his readiness. REFIRE (1) has had no luck the two runs back and the blinkers come off. He has more to offer and expect quick improvement. WHO'S SHOUT (6) has been knocking on the door for the local yard and gets another chance.

Race 4

A mix of lightly-raced gallopers and debutants and the speed map is speculative. Keep a close eye on the betting moves. COMPACTOR (6) sits handy and will be much better for the first-up placing. He is a well-bred galloper who has more up the sleeve and gets his chance in this contest. BIG BAD BRUCE (2) was ready to win third-up at Kembla but met trouble. Needs a good ride but peaks now and can win at best. MARINCESKI (3) debuts for a strong local yard and has trialled well. He’s worth keeping safe. SPANISH RAIN (8) showed enough two back to suggest she’s a chance.

Race 5

Dragon Li will use the low draw and expect Catalanic and Orsippus to be prominent as well. GALAHAD'S QUEST (7) brings strong form and followed an unlucky effort at Kembla at the mile with a near miss at Goulburn up to this distance range. Came from rearwards in that, but Lever can sit handier today from the low gate. Looks very hard to beat. RED MY MIND (3) has improved each run back for Matt Dale and the former Kiwi draws low today. Had good support this trip the latest when slow away and his best is good enough. DRAGON LI (6) is certainly worth consideration down from Sydney and CATALANIC (10) is an interesting runner having her first outing for the strong Victorian yard.

Race 6

Tunnel Rat and the top two selections will be prominent from the jump. A good contest with some promising gallopers engaged. MONTE MAJURA (2) was on the speed winning the Maiden comfortably and then was beaten a lip after a month away. Was tough in that and can only be better for it. He’s sure to go close despite the tricky gate. MAJOR TIME (1) won the Maiden here 13 days ago as favourite and it was deserved. He’s a progressive galloper who puts himself right in the race. He's a big hope using the rail. SECRET DIAMOND (3) won the Maiden at Nowra and then disappointed at Cowra pulling up with lacerations. Has had a brief freshen and can make the finish using the nice draw. WHANAU FORCE (4) is knocking on the door and is well in the mix.

Race 7

Art Of The Dance and Damagic will be prominent from the jump. SUPREME POLARITY (4) is building a good record for Nick Olive and forgive the last start heavy track run at Muswellbrook in stronger. The two before read very well for this and looks a good chance at each way odds with a good ride. CHEWBACCA (2) was back to form missing a whisker third-up at Goulburn. He should get over okay from the tricky draw and a win is overdue. Stablemate ART OF DANCE (5) won the 66 resuming and is back improved for the new yard. She won’t have to improve well to play a major role. CARRUTHERS (8) is better than the form reads and needs to be kept onside.

Race 8

Pierino can lead from Black Wand. A terrific contest to end the day. PIERINO (4) just missed at Randwick and then got the blinkers again when beaten a nose in easier at Goulburn with the big weight. Looks well-suited today and will take plenty of beating using the handy gate. FUN TICKETS (3) had a lot more market support placing here the latest after being slow off. That had next time written all over it and he should go close. HIGH STREET (8) deserved the second-up 55 win at this venue and expect that to stack right up. Keeps improving and looks a value chance. TIARA ROAD (9) had excuses the latest off the near-miss at Randwick. Keeps threatening and a win wouldn’t surprise.
