Our best of the day comes up in race six which looks a deep race at first glance but it's at Propelle's mercy if she can replicate her performance from two runs back.
Propelle was well backed off that form last time but was left circling the field while the winner Bam's On Fire, who reopposes here, cut through half a dozen horses to her inside and managed to bob her out on the line.
That was a terrific run with circumstances against and with a turnaround in the weights, and the likely run of the race, she is fancied to turn the tables. Feared Eyes and Quora are two promising fillies at this time of the year but Propelle's rating from two back will make life very difficult for them if replicated and 7/4 appeals as a fair bet that she's the one on Saturday.
We roll on from race six to race seven for our each way play.
Begood Toya Mother did a good job to keep his winning run going last time, without having to match his very best from Sandown prior, but there is one here that has the talent to force the best out of him - or better- if he gets out of the right side of bed.
That's Danon Roman who, like so many Japanese horses, falls into the enigma catergory. He showed good ability back in the spring, without winning, but he threw up a bad one before a break and his two this time around have been only fair.
A reboot precedes today, which included a gelding and some gear tinkering, and it's to be respected being from a sharp yard. 1440m is short of his best trip but he is not without pace and he can run up to a winning level here. Something at the 7/1 is advised.
