Back to Caulfield where the rail is in the true and the track should be in good order - we just need some luck with the weather on the day.

The early forecast is for wind and rain to roll in on Saturday but we will get in nice and early with our plays and hopefully beat the weather. 

The first is an interesting contest with the talented and well-regarded Sizzlefly stepping out as favourite. She won by a good margin at Mornington and did it with a neat turn of foot. If anything the margin flattered those behind her and she was reeling away from them at the finish - hard to beat! 

But she faces a better one than she tackled there on Saturday in the form of King Of Hastings and we don't think there should be a lot between them in the betting. Sizzlefly might have more upside but King Of Hastings has posted a pair of rock solid ratings and the latest was at 1200m. Sizzlefly has to come up from 1000m. They both draw out but King Of Hastings has tactical speed and will press on to be in front of Sizzlefly in the run and he will do it with top jock Craig Williams in the saddle. 

There's enough in his favour there to think that he can make life very difficult for Sizzlefly and we're more than happy to back him against the improving and exciting filly. 

In race two we are switching sides and going with the one on the rise. That horse is the resuming Tavistock Dancer who impressed twice in as many starts back in the summer. 

He did plenty to impress in those two wins and left the impression that there is a good deal more to come from him. There's nothing in the race on Saturday with the potential that he has and concerns about him being ready to go first up at the mile are eased by the each-way price range.
