We’re taking a couple of new season 4yos resuming as our plays this week.

In what looks an even sort of race, there is good form from Lady Young here.

Coming off a very nice first campaign which included two wins and a black type placing, this mare now goes straight to 1400m which is a positive.

She was hardly poor in the Auraria Stakes, rattled home in the Adelaide Guineas into second and then might have had enough in the Centaurea.

Love that she kicks off over a distance where she won't get run off her feet as she does get back.

The race prior sees another who could well find some support.

Stepping into a BM70 race against all ages, Star Status finds a group of rivals who aren't in the business of winning of late.

Admittedly he has only one of those himself but has raced against decent opposition.

He was placed in the Port Adelaide Guineas and then flew home to just miss those placings in the Chairmans before struggling in the SA Derby.

Likely to be off the speed once more, he just needs enough pace and there looks to be some entered. We may just get a nice price too.
