Punters can end on a winning note at Eagle Farm on Saturday with two good chances to close the program.

Talented sprinter Scallopini looks one of the best of the day in the Juiced TV Open Handicap over 1400m.

The five year-old has returned in fine order having kicked off this campaign with a win before running on strongly for a close third last outing.

Those efforts took his record at this course to three wins and two placings from five visits and the way he hit the line last time suggested he is looking for 1400m having won three of five previous attempts at the journey.

Scallopini races very well third up with two wins and a placing from three tries so should be hitting his peak.

He draws a wide gate but given his racing style that shouldn't present too many problems and he looks well placed at the weights after the 2kg claim of Stephanie Thornton.

Tambo's Mate also looks a strong winning hope in the final event, the TAB Benchmark 80 over 1200m.

The Stuart Kendrick-trained four-year-old is lightly raced but has already put together a good record winning four of his eight starts.

 He made an encouraging return after a two-month break when he hit the line well for second over 1110m at Doomben a fortnight ago.

Tambo's Mate has won second-up before so should be improved by that outing and he should appreciate getting up to 1200m having won at the trip twice before.

Jim Byrne goes back aboard having won his only previous ride on the four-year-old and this looks the right race for him.
