The Shane Baertschiger trained Star Of Jupiter went down first up, but lost no admirers and is worth sticking with at Kranji on Friday night.

Due to contest the seventh event, Star Of Jupiter was formerly trained by Team Snowden [Old Name: Spin], and displayed plenty of ability in his 15 starts, despite only notching up two wins.

He was group placed multiple times as a two-year-old and notably finished third in the 2018 Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes [1200m] behind Sesar.

He left Australian shores off a win and possesses a career peak rating of 111, when finishing fifth in the Group 1 Sires' Produce Stakes [1400m].

Admittedly his rating of 101 is a more relevant number given he achieved it in the last 12 months.

His rating of 111 contains 12kg of WFA and until he produces that figure again, would use 101 as a stronger reference point.

An impressive winner in his Singapore debut, Star Of Jupiter was thrown in the deep end at his next start (Gr.2 EW Barker Trophy), only to have clear excuses when he bled.

Off the scene for 119 days, he looked good at the trials, though was alarming drifter first up when sent out at 17-1.

Bumped heavily at the start, Star Of Jupiter was very game in defeat when finishing behind Lim's Dream.

A sectional star, Star Of Jupiter returned a Timeform rating of 86 with a hint of more to come.

Still can't work out why he was such an alarming drifter, on debut he was sent out $2.20 and started 8-1 in the Group 2 EW Barker Trophy [1400m], crazy to think he started double the odds in a Class 2 rising just 1.5kg.

All we can hope is that it does work in our favour with his SP working as an anchor for Friday night's event.

He steps up to Class 1 company, but still appears very well placed at the weights and loved his most recent trial when not ask to do anything behind Gingerella.

Star Of Jupiter is already a winner on the polytrack and if able to improve further, he shapes as one of the hardest to beat.

The James Peters trained Skywalk is a course and distance specialist and while giving weight away to all bar War Affair, he is more than capable and has to be respected.

Coming into this on the fresh side (34 days), the booking of Michael Rodd is a big push he just has to overcome the wide draw.

The much in-form My Dreamliner steps up in grade, but continues to raise the bar and looks to get a lovely run from the middle draw.

He's won six from nine attempts on the polytrack, he may just be a touch vulnerable late at 1200m.

Either way he should be in this for a long way.

Of the rest the Michael Clements trained Gingerella appears the next in line.
