Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 29.
Wangaratta: Race 7 @ 3.30pm
You're So Natural gets its own way in front with the other on-pacers coming out. FLOREAT PICA (4) started favourite but finished down the track after a torrid run over 2000m at Donald last start. Wasn't beaten far in a couple of 64 races over this distance prior to that failure. Perfectly placed today to bounce back to form. NUMBER ONE STAR (3) is a lightly raced three-year-old who returned from a 37-week spell with a tough maiden win over this trip at Hamilton last time out. Kept fresh since that success and with some natural improvement he can handle the step up in grade. YOU'RE SO NATURAL (8) raced on the speed and held on well for a close 2nd over this trip in a Narrandera Class 1 recently. Genuine gelding who can dictate up front and will be about the mark again. JUST CAINME ARCHIE (7) for Lindsay Park resumed with an impressive win in a 1350m Donald maiden last start. Sparingly raced mare who will relish the step up to this trip. SELECTION: Keen on #4 Floreat Pica to turn his form around.

Taree: Race 2 @ 1:15pm
There's no designated leader but the large field should run along okay over the mile. DUNOON (2) has placed here both race-runs and was favourite the latest. Draws to get the run of the race and rates to break through at the mile with Gibbons going on. FLYING MOJO (3) has been racing well without winning and has been well-bet. Draws the low gate on a 6-day return and gets another chance. HONOVI (5) brings a string of placings to peak and won't be far away pushing forward. GAMEMAN (4) resumes for a form yard with the blinkers on first time. He placed his only run last campaign and requires a market watch. SELECTION: #2 Dunoon is the one to beat.
Albury: Race 2 @ 1:35pm
Verra looks the likely leader and the tempo should be okay over the mile. ROYAL FIGHTER (1) peaks and has been beaten a whisker the last two. He gets back and always needs a good ride, but rates to come over the top of them. JIMMY GIRL (3) ran on well into the placings second-up here at 1500m and will be better for it. He has more up the sleeve and is capable of racing handier today. SIGNAL HILL (2) has been around the mark and won't be far away with a good ride. She can find her best reaching peak fitness. SUPALUX (9) gets the blinkers again and they may spark him into a minor slot. SELECTION: The two best bets come early in the programme and have been well-found. #1 Royal Fighter gets his chance in Race 2 and the promising #3 Jack The Brumby will take plenty of beating in Race 3. An all-up may be the way to go.
