The Hill Smith Stakes for the 3yos is the main race on the card and there is a very promising colt running.

Ain'Tnodeeldun ran a nice race first up running on from the back over too short a trip in a good form maiden.

But then once stepped up to the mile at Sale he rounded them up like they were tied to the fence.

It was no surprise given his breeding that he would do that but it was the manner of it – surging clear by around five lengths.

There have been statements about whether he would get to the Derby this Spring or be saved for an attack on a race like the Australian Derby when he is more matured in April.

This is a decent field without being overly strong and you can see him being very popular.

Over to the last where Sunmate could well get overlooked given his form emanates from a win at Strathalbyn.

But he was strong through the line on a soft track and this surface will be a very similar one.

Late in the day you'd think pulling out and coming wide would not be a bad place and having drawn 15, he will be in the right spot.

This race is hardly much different in terms of quality to the Class 2 he won and now third up off a freshen he is primed to run a race at odds.
