Wagga: Race 5 @ 4:35pm
Expecting a strong tempo with Add On and Rewarded Princess finding the front. NEWTOWN BRAVEHEART (2) was good here on debut and then dashed clear late easily winning the Goulburn Maiden. Draws low and the in-form McDougall goes on. Fitter he looks well-capable of taking the next step. FLYING ARION (11) resumes for the new yard bringing good figures from South Australia. He will race over further but has placed fresh and the market will say if he's ready to go. REBEL ROMANCE (6) is also ex SA resuming and she has placed 2/3 fresh. She will also race over further but has to be kept safe as well. ADD ON (4) races as peak and may be next best. SELECTION: Expecting #2 Newtown Braveheart to go on with it.

Geelong: Race 8 @ 5:00pm
Regal Riffle has good speed and should be able to cross down and lead. REGAL RIFFLE (9) will push forward and run along and can win presented forward as the market suggests. In a leading yard and has been saved for this. Was only beaten 2L in a city 78 first-up last preparation. INKSLINGER (1) resumed on good order and has plenty up the sleeve. The claim assists but he will need some luck from the sticky gate. RIKIBOBBY (8) has had one blip in a string of good efforts in SA and looks a chance. CYCLONE TIM (5) hasn't been far away and like the heavy. He also deserves consideration. SELECTION: #9 Regal Riffle should have them covered and the fact he's still in suggests she'll handle the conditions.
Ballina: Race 7 @ 5:30pm
Some speed has come out of the race but a few are capable of taking it up. STUCK WITH YOU (5) resumes for a sharp yard and trialled twice. He showed plenty the first preparation and won on debut. Expect him to be improved and take plenty of beating. SHEZANDI AS (9) had been threatening and then led and won the 58 here by 3L. She will use the low gate and no surprise if she goes right on with it. PENASQUITO (7) missed a lip here 10 days ago and that stacks up. Gets weight relief in this grade and is also a winning chance. NANAKOROBI YAOKI (12) was back to her best winning at Ballina but the outside gate makes it tough. SELECTION: With Stuck With You if the market support holds up.
