Clements' Tiger To Roar

3 minute read

The Michael Clements trained Tiger Roar continues to improve and looks well placed to return to the winner's stall at Kranji on Saturday.

Due to contest the tenth event, Tiger Roar has placed at all four starts, including his maiden win three starts back.

He clearly should have won two back when having traffic trouble, before very game in defeat last start when only going down narrowly.

Making the jump from 1400m to 1800m on that occasion, he is sure to derive plenty of improvement from that run and should be better suited back on top of the ground.

The wide draw doesn't make things easy as he is again likely to get back, but looks to have the talent to round them up.

Jockey Ryan Munger regains the ride aboard the three-year-old having been aboard for his maiden win.

In just his first preparation, Tiger Roar has displayed good ability and looks a very promising type for Clements.

He will no doubt be better next time in, but is doing plenty right and is certainly one to place in your blackbook.

From one of the in-form stables in Singapore, you can be fairly confident that with even luck Tiger Roar should go very close.

Stablemate Shepherd's Hymn shapes as the main danger following a solid run last start when second behind Solo Sun.

He closed off well there over the mile and should be better suited getting out to 1800m, having won his only attempt.

The return to the turf track is another tick as he has placed in four of seven attempts.

The in-form Beuzelin links back aboard (placed 4/6) and he should be very strong late.

The Tan trained Mo Almighty hasn't been far off the mark in recent outings and has to be kept safe on the quick back up.

Although only a winner of two of his 15 starts, he has placed on a further five occasions and races well on the turf track.

The wide likely sees him getting back in the field, but with a back to follow coming into the straight, he shouldn't be far away.

Of the rest the Lee Freedman trained Circuit Star appears the next in line.

Good luck and happy punting.
