Another round of Derby and Oaks lead up races are run at Ascot on the weekend.
In the Natasha Stakes you have to look back at the 1000 Guineas where Solaia was taken on and Brave Angel got them late.
Now we are getting to the 2200m and happy to be siding with the staying types like Reliable Star.
The Reliable Man progeny just want to get out in trip and she showed as much at Bunbury, coming from well back to score.
This is obviously a step up but she wasn't just racing fillies in her races.
Over the 2200m this time and the Oaks thereafter, she should only be improving with distance, more experience and fitness too.
Onto the JC Roberts for the boys and well Western Empire just has to keep on the upward spiral to be winning.
He sat off them in the Lex Piper in a race about this level but once he got smoking under Chris Parnham before the corner, he trotted in.
The Summer Carnival racing showed his true level and now that he has had another campaign and racing these same horses, only bad luck beats him.
