Tiger To Roar At Kranji

3 minute read

Progressive three-year-old Tiger Roar appears well placed to make a winning return when due to contest the penultimate event at Kranji on Sunday.

Returning from a four month break, Tiger Roar went out off a winning note and looks suited in the Class 3 event.

Only lightly raced he has never missed the money in five starts including two wins.

He won impressively at this course and distance first up last time in and while this is harder he is clearly trending the right way.

A noted backmarker he has raced closer in his two trials and hoping Simon Kok can get him to settle in front of a few on Sunday.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings he looks very well placed and should take plenty of beating.

Confident he will be better over further but this looks a very winnable assignment and with even luck he should prove hard to hold out.

Stablemate Heartening Flyer shapes as the clear danger and should start favourite.

An impressive winner fresh over 1200m, he failed to repeat that effort at his next outing when second behind Kharisma.

Gets back onto the turf on Sunday which is a big tick and he should be better suited getting out to 1400m.

Jockey Louis-Philippe Beuzelin sticks aboard and knows him well having been aboard for all of his six starts including four wins.

He was forced to travel wide throughout last start, but expect him to get a much better run this time around.

On best form he has a bit to find on Tiger Roar, but he too is on an upward spiral and is sure to make his presence felt.

The Mark Walker trained Savvy Command won well fresh before not beaten all that far last start over 1200m.

Steps up in grade, but gets in well after the claim and will just need some luck from the wide draw.

Of the rest last start winner Golden Flame appears the next in line.

In good form for the Donna Logan stable and if able to hold it, he shouldn't be far away.

Good luck and happy punting.
