We are back at headquarters on Saturday with an improving track and the rail in the true position.
Good competitive racing across the card and happy to bet up early in race three with the Chris Waller trained No Compromise.
Only a recent addition to the Waller camp, No Compromise really caught the eye in his Australian debut when third behind stablemate Achiever.
A sectional star he appears open to good improvement getting out to 2400m and a key rider switch with Berry going aboard.
The knock being he's likely to have to come from last in a race with not a great deal of speed on paper.
Still trust in Berry to get it ride and with even luck confident he can get home over the top of them.
Sticking with Waller camp in Race 7 and while not hard to find, April Rain looks terribly hard to beat.
Simply unsuited at Gosford first up I was surprised how close she got.
It's a completely different scenario at Randwick on Saturday, as she should settle closer and a big tick stepping up to 1300m.
When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings she holds a clear edge and we have her marked $1.70.
She returned a new peak first up which is a big push as Waller runners invariably improve run to run - that being the case confident she will have their measure on Saturday.
Black odds are good odds.
