A strong first up showing sees Lashoni a good value bet at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Tony Gollan's mare was an eye catcher at this course first up, hitting the line hard to fall short by just a head in a similarly-graded race.

Lashoni has a solid second up record so will be better for the outing and should relish the extra 200m.

Ryan Maloney sticks and the likely improvement sees the mare worth a shot at decent odds.

A fitness edge gives in-form filly You'll Be Mist the chance to beat a good field of juveniles in the following event.

The filly has been good in her two Sunshine Coast runs this time, winning in dominant style first up then fighting strongly for a close second.

She should be right in the firing line from her low draw and her solid ratings suggest she is worth an each way play.
