We’ve been experiencing some wet days in Adelaide and it has been making the surfaces quite testing.
This time around out in Murray Bridge it may not be that bad so the form could be tricky.
No matter the day, the track won't be firm and happy to be backing a horse in strong winning form so we'll plump for Mutinous in Race 7.
The 4yo placed twice to begin the prep then permanently moved to Adelaide where he broke the maiden by nearly eight lengths.
He then backed it up with another large margin at Gawler proving the first victory was no fluke.
They've been on rain affected going but not bog tracks and he's a leader so can make his own luck. That is especially positive given he'll carry top weight but is not that far over the limit.
The old saying is, the more they win the better the price, so let's hope it continues on Saturday.
Over to the last for some value on the day and Morialta does set up to run home as is the pattern of this course on occasions.
Twice this campaign, the 4yo has been last or basically last on the corner and rattled home to win.
Even last week he was back there again and flashed home to just miss the placings.
He now gets a crack at 1400m and Murray Bridge is the type of track that will allow him every hope.
He's a good each way chance.
