The Steven Burridge trained Tiger Leap couldn’t have been more impressive last weekend and looks well placed to go back to back on Sunday.

Having caught the eye two back over the mile, Tiger Leap appreciated the drop back in trip when far too good in the maiden event.

Ridden by Rosman Iskander, Tiger Leap over-came a wide run in transit to score easily by four and a half lengths.

After being bumped at the start he rode the speed three-wide before putting the race away shortly after straightening.

Although taking 11 starts to break through he appears capable of improving again on Sunday.

Due to contest the fourth event he lines up at the same course and distance and has drawn to land in a controlling position again.

This is harder but a Class 5 event is certainly within his reach and he appears well placed with the aid of the claim.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings he sits top off his maiden win and if able to repeat he should prove very hard to beat.

Last start winner Big Day only won narrowly last start but it's always hard to knock winning form and he has to be respected.

Kept on the fresh side (28 days) he has since trialled well and if able to hold his form he shouldn't be far off the mark.

The Donna Logan trained Dragon Ryker is still a maiden after 13 starts but gets his chance in this line up.

He has trialled well and the booking of Danny Beasley is a solid push.

Of the rest last start second placegetter Qiji Diamond appears the next in line.
