It appears a good betting card in Adelaide on the weekend with some good sized fields through the day.

One horse coming off some good Melbourne form angles when fancied there has been Capricorn Ridge and he can enjoy the step back from the greater depth races over East.

A huge winner at Ballarat on the heavy, he was then forced to come from last but gave away too much ground over the mile and a half at Caulfield.

They backed him up a week later but dropped him in trip at Moonee Valley and that wasn't a great set up.

Now he's had three weeks off, come back home and stayed at what should be his preferred journey.

If the track gets a drenching again then look for the son of Trust In A Gust to be well supported.

Another horse deserving of a change of luck is Melody Man and he can get a second win on the board later in the day.

Since coming back to racing off a long spell, he has been near last in transit and flashed home three times at Murray Bridge.

They may get going a bit earlier at Morphettville and he's much better drawn this time so won't need to be giving away such huge starts.

He has to run well again and if things pan his way then we'll be taking the winning price.
