Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for October 12.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Newcastle, Queanbeyan and Kyneton.
NEWCASTLE: RACE 3 @ 3:10 PM
JESSE JAMES (3) is a very consistent conveyance only missing a drum once in eight career starts and Loy was in the irons when he broke his maiden and retains the ride here. Will strip fitter third-up from the spell and rates the testing material. DEEL STREET (7) has been thereabouts in both runs this time in and has won at this track. In the mix. UNZAGA (6) broke the maiden status last time out and gets 3kg off with the claim. One for the multiples. MANDALORIAN (4) has placed his past couple and is best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Jesse James to win.
As a FREE Racing and Sports offer, below is the Newcastle Computer Card.
QUEANBEYAN: RACE 7 @ 5:15 PM
SERB ALERT (9) was just beaten here and then improved again placing at Wagga. Finally gets a low gate and rates to go one better. WRITTEN STATEMENT (1) is a former Sydney galloper resuming for the top local barn. Gets a sticky gate but gets the blinkers first time and expect him to race boldly. ST ROSE (12) resumes and showed enough the latest start to say he can make the finish with natural improvement. WOODBRAID LAD (11) resumes and is a speedy galloper with upside. Keep him well onside.
SELECTIONS: With Serb Alert.
