The Jerome Tan trained Big Tiger has been knocking on the door in recent starts and looks well placed to break through at Kranji on Saturday.
Set to line up in the sixth event Big Tiger has finished second at three of his last four starts, most recently behind Everest on the turf track over 1200m.
Since kept fresh (35 days) he has won a trial in good style and has placed in two of four attempts on the polytrack.
Jimmy Wong (Wong Chin Chuen) links back aboard and has placed in two of three attempts.
From the middled draw he looks to get the perfect run and he appears very well placed at the weights.
Although yet to break through from eight starts, he rates top off his last four starts and if able to hold his form he looks very hard to beat.
The Desmond Koh trained Superior Coat has also finished second at his last two starts and shapes as the main danger.
In nine attempts on the polytrack he has placed in three and while he needs to improve to beat Big Tiger, he is in career best form and must be included in the main chances.
The Michael Clements trained Konan failed to live up to market expectations on debut but remains under strong notice on Saturday.
Sent out the 6/4 favourite, Konan finished towards the rear when unable to reproduce his form from the trials.
Generally pays to be forgiving in this game and suspect he can show good improvement with the tongue-tie on for the first time.
From the wide draw he is expected to press forward and should be in this for a long way.
Of the rest the Ricardo Le Grange trained City Hall appears the next in line.
