Costing $26,000 at last year’s Magic Million Yearling Sale Eyes Never Lie has repaid her connections in good style after she scored her third win in the 1250 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Giving jockey Jason Holder his twenty-second winner for the season the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas trained Eyes Never Lie  came from well back with a well-timed run in the straight to meet with success.

Jockey Jason Holder completed an early running double when he piloted Darlamax to a win in the 1950 metre second race.

Mentored by Pakenham trainer Andrew Homann Darlamax came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The training duo of Richard and Chantelle Jolly continued their good run when Full Probe won the 1250 metre third race.

Having the services of Jake Toeroek Full Probe led all the way to bring up win three from six starts.

The Macdonald/Gluyas stable landed its second winner for the afternoon when Saddler's Song took out the 1300 metre fourth race.

Ridden by stable apprentice Teagan Voorham Saddler's Song came from a midfield position to bring up her first win at her fifth start.

After winning a race at the non-TAB meeting at Ceduna trainer Garret Lynch brought up his second winner within minutes when Jaamint won the 1550 metre fifth race.

Ridden by Kayla Crowther Jaamint led all the way.

Apprentice Angus Chung landed his first city winner when he rode Our Deep Agenda to victory in the 1250 metre sixth race.

Being under the care of Jon O'Connor, Our Deep Agenda came from a midfield position to score its third successive win.

Kayla Crowther landed her second winner for the afternoon when Heka Express took out the 1000 metre seventh event.

A member of the successful stable of Gary and Nichole Searle and Briana Callanan at Gawler Heka Express came from a midfield position with a strong run late in the race.

Apprentice Angus Chung will remember last Saturday as the day he brought up his first metropolitan double when Annika took out the 1400 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Murray Bridge by Mick Huxtable Annika gradually improved from a  better than midfield position to meet with success.

Apprentice Teagan Voorham added to the doubles department when she guided Dantree to a win in the 1000 metre final event.

Prepared at Strathalbyn by Andrew Clarken Dantree led for most of the journey, was headed in the straight but fought back triumphantly.
