The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained colt will be ridden by Adam Hyeronimus who will be wearing the famous racing colours of red with a white cap that belongs to owners, the Tait family.

These are the same colours George Moore wore when he won the 1969 Breeders Plate on Baguette, winner of all seven starts during his debut season including the first to complete two-year-old triple crown of the Golden Slipper-AJC Sires Produce Stakes-Champagne Stakes.

The Taft family has raced many topliners since Baguette including champion Tie The Knot.

Bivouac's fighting win over Yes Yes Yes and Exceedance was one of the highest-rating renewals of the Group 1 Golden Rose.

Godolphin's Bivouac ran to a Timeform figure of 123, a career peak, while Yes Yes Yes rated 122 and Exceedance 120.

"This was a very good Golden Rose, the three placegetters rating 120 or above," Timeform's Gary Crispe said.

"We have Bivouac right up there with some of the better colts to have won the race.

"Bivouac's figure is below Astern's 126 (2016) and Exosphere's 125 (2015) but above Trapeze Artist with 122 (2017) and The Autumn Sun 120 (2018)."
