Out of the Flemington stable of Tom Dabernig and Ben Hayes Pariano  settled well before getting to the front late in the event.

Patrons were treated to an excellent finish which saw the first time starter Great Diviner win in a tight photo finish in the 1000 metre second race.

Having the services of Todd Pannell and trained by Will Clarken Great Diviner came from a midfield position with a strong run late in the event.

Trainer Gordon Richards was well pleased when Knightstown won its first start in the 1000 metre third race.

It was catch me if you can when The Red Sea went out with a big break and eventually won the 2400 metre fourth race.

Being under the care of Grant Young and having the services of apprentice Scarlet So, The Red Sea led all the way.

The four-year-old gelding Hankstar is making his presence felt after winning his third race in succession in the 1300 metre sixth race.

Prepared by Peter Nolan and ridden by apprentice Stacey Metcalfe Hankstar was not far off the lead and chose a rails run in the straight going on to win.

Coming off a last start fourth Tony's Reward gave his jockey Jason Holder victory in the 1250 metre seventh race.

Prepared by Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas, Tony's Reward came from a midfield position with a strong run late in the event.
