Jockey Jessica Eaton wrestled the lead back on the city jockeys’ premiership when she rode Taunting to a win in the 1100 metre opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.

A second time starter and coming out of the Murray Bridge stable of Michael Hickmott Taunting  took over the lead half way down the straight after being well placed.

Winning Weather returned to the winners' list when she took out the 1200 metre second race.

Having the services of Jason Holder and being under the care of Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas Winning Weather settled well before going on to win.

Jason Holder brought up the second leg of a running double when the three-year-old Turfitt took out the 1200 metre third race.

A $3000 purchase at last year's Adelaide Magic Millions yearling sales the Gordon Richards prepared Turfitt came with a strong run from a rearward position to win.

Coming off a last start third Aadelad returned to the winner's list when he took out the 1050 metre fourth race.

Ridden by Barend Vorster the Wayne Francis and Glen Kent prepared Aadelad came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Murray Bridge trainer Garret Lynch was well pleased with the win of his charge Jaamint in the 1526 metre fifth race.

Guided to victory by Kayla Crowther Jaamint was well placed, getting to the lead in the dying stages of the event.

The former New Zealand galloper Not Usual Glorious brought up a hat-trick of wins since relocating to Australia when he won the 2032 metre sixth race.

Being under the care of Travis Doudle and having the services of Paul Gatt Not Usual Glorious was well placed throughout the event.

Fresh from a holiday on the Gold Coast apprentice Jacob Opperman was seen at his best when Icecrusher won the 1600 metre seventh race.

Being under the care at Strathalbyn of Shayne Cahill, Icecrusher brought up her second win in a row when she came from last to meet with success.

Barend Vorster brought up his second winner for the day when Frankie Pinot, who has not raced since last November, took out the 1200 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Ballarat by Tony and Calvin McEvoy, Frankie Pinot came from a near last position to bring up his third win from eight starts.

The father and daughter training duo of Richard and Chantelle Jolly finished off the days' racing in fine style when The Big Goodbye took out the 1050 metre final event.

Guided to victory by apprentice Campbell Rawiller, The Big Gmoodbye came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.
