Murray Bridge Races Review

After beginning his career with a second the Andrew Clarken prepared Divenire broke through for his maiden win in the 1000 metre opening event at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

Guided to victory by Paul Gatt Divenire  came from well back with a sharp run late in the event.

Jockey Paul Gatt brought up and early double when he rode the consistent Struck By to a win in the 1400 metre second race.

Under the care of Travis Doudle Struck By  brought up consecutive wins after being well placed throughout the event.

Second Slip continued his good run when he brought up his fourth successive win in the 1200 metre third race.

Ridden by Todd Pannell and coming out of the Will Clarken stable at Morphettville, Second Slip  led almost all the way and may have a run on Adelaide Cup Day.

Outlaws Revenge brought up a trio of wins when he took out the 1200 metre fourth race.

Having the services of promising apprentice Jacob Opperman the Ryan Balfour prepared Outlaws Revenge was not far off the pace for the journey.

The Tony and Calvin McEvoy trained Renegade made it two wins in a row when he won the 1400 metre fifth race.

Having the services of Barend Vorster Renegade got to the lead early in the race and didn't look back.

The two-year-old filly Scorched Earth  showed her rivals a clean pair of heels when she streaked away to take out the Magic Millions 2YO Classic which was run over 1200 metres.

Prepared at Caulfield by John Moloney and guided to victory by leading rider Jessica Eaton, Scorched Earth led all the way.

Apprentice Stacey Metcalfe continued to make a big impact on her SA racing career when she guided Justica from a rearward position to take out the seventh race.

Trained at Port Lincoln by Brian Clarke, Justica brought up her fifth win from sixteen starts.

After not being well served by the start Azzureous gave Stacey Metcalfe her second winner in the 2500 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Morphettville by Peter Blanch, Azzureous worked his way from a near last position to go on to win.

Stacey Metcalfe scored her third straight winner for the day when Kyshaka took out the 1800 metre final event.

Coming out of the Mount Gambier stable of Peter Hardacre Kyshaka came from a rearward position to flash home over the concluding stages.
