Falino wins 2015 Yalumba Wines Bribie Hcp Listed $100,000 at Sunshine Coast (QLD), 1000m.

Falino enjoyed a nice run in sixth position, two horses off the fence about four lengths from the leader Rocky King. He looked a beaten horse at the 250m but started to make some ground between runners and working into the clear back towards the inside. He picked up well back towards the inside in the final 200m, hitting the front inside the final 100m to score an unlikely victory with a little in reserve.

Seeking More was taken back from his wide barrier (15) to race in fifth last position four wide and he was nursed around the home turn on the outside with a huge amount of ground to make up. He came with a big run on the outside responding well to riding to just miss. A good effort considering the extra ground he covered and the ground he made up in the straight.

Office Bearer tracked the winner in the run. He was held up for a run at the 250m and divided back to the fence at the 200m and closed well to be closest on the line. A solid run.

Whittington raced on the outside of the winner in the run. He worked home solidly without ever really threatening the first three home but he was not beaten far.
