Lord Aspen wins 2015 Quayclean City Of Marion Stks Listed $100,000 at Morphettville (SA), 1200m.

Lord Aspen took his record to six wins from nine starts with a very good win here. He began well from his outside barrier (15) and worked in the early stages before settling in fifth place (three wide without cover). He was deep at the home turn, challenged at the 200m, hit the front at the 100m and fought back for a really good win after a difficult trip.

Baligari went back from his barrier (11) settled towards the rear on the field, before commencing his run (wide) from the 600m. He challenged in the centre of the track nearing the 100m and fought well for a good second.

Karacatis had a nice run from his good barrier (5) being a handy fourth on the rails to the home turn. He was in a challenging position halfway down the straight and then held on for third after appearing to have every chance.
