Single Bullet was third (rails), found space into the straight and went after the winner but had no chance.

Trekking tried to match the winner turning in then battled away, best of the rest for third from Ducimus, who also battled away along the fence for fourth.

Eptimum could hardly have been more impressive, clearing out in the home straight to make it three successive wins in four starts. From the outside barrier (nine), jockey Ryan Maloney wasted little time in reaching the lead and coolly added pressure down the side to lead by two lengths. Taken on at the 400m they hugged the rail and accelerated again to lead into the straight, pushing out by a length than racing clear to win impressively - a big win.
