Dual Group One winner Gailo Chop is now unbeaten in both starts since resuming. He soon crossed to the front and set quite a good tempo (first 1200m 1:13) before turning for home. He then safely held off challengers and went on to win quite impressively in a very solid performance.

Single Gaze settled behind the leader (Gailo Chop) challenged strongly at the home turn but was safely held by the winner and she then fought on really well under regular rider Kathy O’Hara for a very good second.

Hartnell had a good trip in fourth place, moved up well coming to the home turn and then kept battling on quite well for third after seeming to have had every chance.

Ventura Storm was well back in second last place in the nine-horse field before making good late ground for (7.25 lengths) fourth while Abbey Marie also made ground, coming from last at the home turn for (7.75 lengths) fifth.
