British-bred stayer Exoteric is racing in good form, now winning three of his last four starts in recording his second stakes success in scoring here. He had a nice trip in third place (on the rails), tracking a good tempo before going to second on straightening. He went to the front at the 200m and then fought back strongly for a good win. Our Century raced outside the leader (Red Excitement), challenged at the 300m and kept then battling strongly for second, beaten just under two lengths. Red Excitement soon went to the front, set a good pace and held on for third after running a bold race. Veteran stayer Destiny's Kiss was last in the five-horse field and kept fighting on under his top weight (59kg) for (4.2 lengths) fourth with the favourite Savacool being eased out of the race by Kerrin McEvoy approaching the home turn when something went amiss with the mare.
