Despite only winning a Class 4 event on Sunday evening, the Mark Walker trained Sacred Croix is a must follow, he will be winning plenty.

Lining up at just his fourth start, Sacred Croix took a good step forward when launching late in the seventh event.

Successful in bringing up the hat-trick, Sacred Croix again reeled off some very slick sectionals to land the prize.

Ridden by Benny Woodworth, Sacred Croix found a good spot just off the speed, with the Steven Burridge trained Mach taking up the running.

Tracking beautifully entering the home straight, Woodworth found himself behind a wall of horses with nowhere to go.

Under a throttle hold, Sacred Croix was climbing over the heels while others were already making their runs.

Forced to wait and ease him to the outside, Sacred Croix only got out with 200m to go.

Once balanced he really started to let rip and quickly ambled up to the leaders.

In the space of 100m, he went from being a tragedy beaten to bolting in, he is very smart.

He improved seven pounds on his previous best and is clearly a 4YO trending the right way.

Returning a Timeform rating of 75, he can continue his rise through the grades and is a must for your blackbook.

When looking at sectional mark ups/adjustments, he has the ability to win a Class 3/Kranji Stakes C event.

Rising six points to 67 on the official handicap ratings, he still appears ahead of the handicapper and he can be followed with confidence.

Star galloper Debt Collector couldn't have been more impressive in his return, when launching late to score in the eighth event.

First up since his Group 1 success in the QE11 Cup [1800m], Debt Collector was forced to give weight away to all of his rivals, but his class shone through, when too strong late.

Adopting his customary position at the rear of the field, Debt Collector spotted his rivals a big start, before peeling to the outside and letting rip.

His closing splits were simply electric and all things being equal, I struggle to see how his rivals turn the tables moving forward.

Although only a narrow margin, when looking at sectional mark ups, he has more than 3L up his sleeve and he could really put a good gap on them in a truly run affair.

Debt Collector ran up to his peak on Sunday, a scary proposition for his opposition given he generally improves with racing.

He remains the highest rated horse in Singapore and it will take a very good performance to notch him off his perch.
