Champion jockey Damien Oliver renewed his acquaintance with Adelaide racing .

He steered Absolute Flirt to a stakes win in the listed Queen Adelaide Stakes for three-year-olds which was run over 1050 metres, the opening event.

Being under the care of Flemington trainer Danny O’Brien and winning her second successive race Absolute Flirt maintained a forward position throughout the event.

The training partnership of Cairn Maher and David Eustace left off continued their good form from Warrnambool when Lite’n In My Veins took out the 1600 metre second race.

Ridden by versatile hoop John Allen Lite’n In My Veins settled well and continued in a forward position.

Despatch brought up a trio of wins when he took out the Group 3 D C McKay Stakes which was run over 1100 metres.

Being under the care of Tony McEvoy at Angaston and piloted to victory by Barend Vorster Despatch jumped well and settled fourth before going on to win.

Apprentice Caitlin Jones enjoyed a career highlight when she won on Olympic Academy in the 2000 metre fourth race.

Coming out of the Murray Bridge stable of Grant Young Olympic Academy came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run in the latter stages of the event.

Coming off a last start fourth at Gawler Music Bay presented trainer Philip Stokes with a win  in the Group 2 Queen of the South stakes which was run over 1600 metres.

Having the services of Craig Williams Music Bay was always in contention bringing up win three from eleven.

Damien Oliver landed his second win for the day and his fourth win in the Schweppes Oaks when Princess Jenni took out the Group 1 event which was run over 2000 metres.

Being under the care of trainer David Brideoake and winning her third successive race Princess Jenni came from a better than midfield position to meet with success.

Damien Oliver landed his third winner and a back to back double when Spright took out the 1200 metre TAB Classic ( Robert Sangster Stakes).

Bringing up his 114th Group 1 win Oliver guided the Gary Frazer prepared Spright from second to last on the home turn with a withering outside run to win.

The Simon Miller prepared Valour Road made it successive wins in the Group 2  Euclase Stakes which was run over 1200 metres

Guided by Luke Currie Valour Road was well placed in bringing up his fourth win from eight starts.
