Winner of two Group 1s in her previous three starts, Kenedna was all class and ran away for an easy length and three quarters win here, recording the tenth victory of her career and topping $2.1 million in earnings in the process.

With a lap to run she settled a handy sixth, one off the fence, drifting a shade to be fifth last at the 1200m. Nearing the 600m she inched closer and four wide approaching the last corner got up behind the leaders, levelled up inside the 200m then surged clear soon after and was never in any danger to the line.

Sixties Groove sat fourth last at the 800m, ran up widest turning in and kept up a strong run to the line without looking to catch the winner.

Re Edit led them in and was not collared until the 150m then fought well for third from Life Less Ordinary ,who from back in the field stayed on quite well for fourth.
