Trainer Jon O’Connor brought up a unusual double when he won the last race here on last Saturday and the first race this today giving him a race to race double with seven days in between.

Ridden by 3 kg claiming apprentice Liam Riordan Magic Phantom came from last with a strong run over the concluding stages to take out the opening event.

Kayla Crowther made a triumphant return to Adelaide racing when she guided Sasko to a win in the 2500 metre second race.

Prepared by Tony McEvoy and coming off a last start fourth Sasko was in the first three for the entire journey.

Apprentice Caitlin Jones made it three wins in a row for the young guns when Super Swoop won the 2035 metre third race.

Bringing up a trio of straight wins the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas prepared Super Swoop came from a worse than midfield position to meet with success.

Coming off a pair of fives Bayou gave apprentice Kenny Lau victory in the 1050 metre fourth race

Prepared by Richard and Chantelle Jolly Bayou came from a rearward position with a strong rails run to win.

Coming off a last start fourth on the Parks circuit the Jake Stephens trained Rapid Bay came from a midfield position with a strong run in the straight.

Todd Pannell kept in touch with the leaders on the city jockeys premiership when he guided Cranford to victory in the 1600 metre sixth race.

Coming out of the Ryan Balfour stable and running a solid third at his previous start Canford came from a rearward position with a withering run down the outside to win.

Todd Pannell landed the second leg of a running double when Suplex City took out the 1050 metre seventh race.

Now in the care of Will Clarken the former Jarrod McLean prepared Suplex City came from the rear of the field with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Not having won for 426 days Beautiful Flyer gave Murray Bridge trainer Len Jarvis a win in the 1200 metre final event.

Guided to victory by Justin Potter and coming off a last start fifth on the Parks track Beautiful Flyer was well placed throughout the event.
