Kordia wins Winning Edge Presentation Stks. Listed $125,000 at Eagle Farm, 1400m.

After taking out a 2yo maiden (1250m) at Canterbury on May 22 at his second start, Godolphin-raced gelding Kordia advanced to win this Listed race in narrow but good style.

He settled back in seventh place on the rails from his inside barrier (1). He improved behind runners at the home turn, Blake Shinn eased him into clear running at the 200m and he then ran on well to grab victory by a long neck at the post.

The Claire Cunningham-trained Big Parade raced outside the leader (Disenchanted) before going to the front at the 200m and then fought well for a very good second at only his second race start.

Snazz 'N' Charm raced in fifth place on the rails, improved along the inner on straightening, managed to ease into clear running nearing the 100m and then battled well for a close-up third at only his second start. The Kris Lees-trained Game Of Thorns was last in the ten-horse field to the home turn and kept making up good ground in the straight for (0.6 lengths) fourth with the leader Disenchanted holding on for (1.3 lengths) fifth.
