The rising 23-year-old stallion - the world's leading sire of individual winners – has shuttled to Australia from the USA for the last 18 seasons.

He was not scheduled to shuttle from Kentucky this year but he is now back on Vinery's Australian roster with confirmation that he wil cover a limited book of mares on a fee of $55,000.

More Than Ready has served 135 mares in Kentucky this year achieving an impressive fertility rate of over 90%, a figure that has driven the decision to send him back to Australia.

The deaths of his best Australian son Sebring, champion sire Redoute's Choice and Hinchinbrook in the past 12 months will increase interest in his availability among Australian breeders.

"Judging by how the horse is doing right now we believe that continuing to shuttle could help keep More Than Ready fit and sound for breeding," said WinStar Farm's Eliot Walden.

Vinery will now offer a roster of seven stallions comprising More Than Ready's US-bred son Pluck, All Too Hard, Star Turn, Headwater, Press Statement and Casino Prince.

"I am obviously delighted More Than Ready will be returning to Australia for the coming breeding season," said Vinery Stud's general manager Peter Orton.

"He has always been a great traveler and handles the process with ease.

"I have found that keeping stallions active maintains their longevity and health."

More Than Ready has sired 1795 winners including 193 individual stakes winners with 71 of them in Australia.

His progeny have won over $220 million in prizemoney with his achievements including being Champion 2YO Sire in Australia twice in 2007-08 and 2008-09.

He has 10 of his sons standing at stud in Australia this season including the first-season sire sensation Better Than Ready.
