Great Again wins Belmont Newmarket Listed, $100,000 at Belmont Park, 1200m.
Controlling the race from the outset, honest and lightly raced seven-year-old Great Again broke through for his maiden stakes success and eighth win in just 19 starts with a convincing effort here.
He was first away and held a half length advantage into the home straight. To the line he was never in any danger, drawing clear by two lengths in a comfortable win.
Rebel King sat a half-length back off the winner all the way to the 400m, tried to go up and challenge but the winner was too strong.
Multiverse sat three wide in third at the 600m, was under pressure at the 200m but fought back quite well to nab third from Lockroy who cut the corner turning in and had every chance in a battling fourth.
