Just Thinkin’ wins Dulcify Stakes Listed, $150,000 at Rosehill, 1500m.

Just Thinkin' staged a good effort in recording his first stakes success here.

Having his fourth race start and his second run this preparation, he went to the front and travelled well at a reasonable tempo before lifting the pace on passing the 600m.

He then fought back gamely in the straight to score well.

Subedar had a nice trip in fifth place on the rails, improved along the inner at the home turn, went through to challenge at the 200m and then kept fighting on well for (long neck) second.

Shadow Hero was eased from his wide barrier and then raced near the tail of the field before getting between runners at the 300m. He then came with a strong late run to take third in a smart first-up effort.

Castelvecchio settled in second-last place and was under riding when the pace picked up nearing the home turn before running on well for (2.4 lengths) fourth in a good first-up performance.
