Morphettville Races Review - 15th September2019

The exciting three-year-old Roccabascerana made it three wins from three starts in the 1200 metre opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.

Being under the care of David Jolly and giving Todd Pannell and an early winner Roccabascerana led all the way.

Hoop Todd Pannell landed his second winner for the day and an early double when Quaffany won the 2600 metre second race.

Bringing up a quartet of wins the Tony McEvoy prepared Quaffany came from a midfield position with a strong run late in the event.

Horsham trainer Paul Preusker continued his good run at Morphettville when his charge Arty Lucas took out the 2000 metre third race.

Bringing up a trio of wins the apprentice Lewis German ridden Arty Lucas gradually improved from a rearward position.

Coming off a last start second on the Parks track Flop brought up win number six from twenty-nine starts in the 1500 metre fourth race.

Trained by Gordon Richards and guided to victory by Jason Holder Flop came from a midfield position and charged home to win over the concluding stages.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace prepared Bonvicini put herself into black type company when she took out the listed Morphettville Guineas which was run over 1600 metres.

Having the services of Jake Toeroek Bonvicini was seen running on from a midfield position to bring up win number two from three starts.

Resuming from a spell and getting a rails-run Aiguilette gave Strathalbyn trainer John Macmillan and jockey Kayla Crowther a win in the 1200 metre sixth race.

Coming off a last start fourth the Michael Hickmott prepared and apprentice Anna Jordsjo Cannot Be Serios was well placed in taking out the 1600 metre seventh race.

Murray Bridge trainer Sam Burford continued his good success of late when his charge Brimarvi Veheero took out the 1050 metre final event.

Having the services of Dom Tourneur Brimarvi Vehero raced in a midfield before breaking free of the pack to win.
