Having his second run in three days City Beats gave trainer Gordon Richards the honour of winning the opening event of 1550 metres on the Parks track at Morpehttville on Saturday.

Giving hoop Ryan Hurdle his second first race winner in seven days City Beats led for most of the journey.

Trainer Gordon Richards made it two wins in two races when Charossa won the 2250 metre second race.

Having the services of Jason Holder Charossa was always in command in bringing up win number seven from twenty-eight starts.

Xilong made it two wins from three starts when she took out the 1000 metre third race.

Continuing the good run of Barend Vorster and team McEvoy Zilong jumped well and continued the winning run of on-pace runners.

The success of front runners continued when the John Hickmott trained and Sairyn Fawke ridden Marina won the 1550 metre fourth race.

Little Akie brought up $500,000 in prizemoney when he took out the 1100 metre fifth race.

In the care of veteran Strathalbyn trainer Brian Mueller and having the services of Jeffrey Maund Little Akie broke the mold of front running winners when he came from a midfield position with a late burst of speed to win.

Nipperkin improved from a last start fourth when he won the 1400 metre sixth race.

Being under the care of Oakbank trainer Barry Brook and having the services of Melbourne hoop Corey Parish Nipperkin came from a midfield position to win.

Kemalpasa continued his good run when he brought up his fourth win from five starts this time in which include successive winsd after hie took out the 1250 metre seventh race.

Being under the care of the training partnership of Richard and chantelle jolly and having the services of Jake Toeroek Kemalpasa came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The Jon O'Connor trained Miss Labelle kept her good form going when she won the 1000 metre final event.

Ridden by apprentice Teegan Voorham Miss Labelle settled well on the rails one off the pace, and got to the front in the home straight to bring up win number four from twenty race track appearances.
