The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained colt Tanker staged a really promising effort in winning on debut. He settled back in sixth place, one off the rails, tracking a good tempo before improving rounding the home turn. He then sprinted well, hit the front at the 100m and then drew away to score impressively. Euphoric Summer began well and settled close to the pace in third spot but a bit deep. She moved up at the home turn, got to the front at the 200m and then battled on well for a good second on debut. The Lindsay Park-trained filly Queen Of Rocks was ridden quietly from a wide barrier and settled at the tail of the eight-horse field and caught the eye in running on in good style for third, looking suited to further, in a good effort on debut. Bella Nipotina raced being the leader and she held on for fourth after failing to get fully clear running in the straight while Pounce led the field until halfway down the straight and held on for fifth.
