Humma Humma staged a very good effort in winning here. She settled in second last place in the nine-horse field, switched widest of all on turning for home and then came with a strong burst to score a very good win.

Demerara had a nice trip in fourth place, moved up at the 200m, and then fought on well for second.

Prophet's Thumb had a nice trip in third place on the rails from her inside barrier (1), got into clear running at the 300m and then kept battling on for third after seeming to have had every chance.

Vinicunca missed the start, was near last early on before settling in seventh place on the rails.

She got through on the inner and battled on nicely for (2.1 lengths) fourth at her first run back, finishing just in front of Soothing ,who was midfield and wide before fighting on for (2.3 lengths) fifth.
