Jericho Missile wins D’Orsogna-Belgravia Stakes Listed, $100,000 at Ascot, 1200m.

From last, Jericho Missile put in a pulverising burst from the 150m to mow them down and score going away here, his third win (maiden stakes) in six starts. He drifted back to equal last early and was two lengths last at the 600m.

Slinging wide making the turn into the straight he balanced, accelerated quickly to be handy, produced a pulverising burst from the 150m to take over the lead with 50m to run then cruised to the line for an impressive win.

Special Choice sat second, one out, from the 600m, third turning in then led the chase after the pacemaker. He kept chasing but had to watch the winner fly past then held on gamely for second.

Dig Deep was fifth, four wide into the straight, charged into third and kept on strongly for third while War Saint led them in but was caught at the 50m before fading to fourth.
